As a Business Process Engineer in the Netherlands, you bridge business, IT, and operations to design and optimize end-to-end banking processes. You will map current (“as-is”) workflows, craft effective “to-be” models, and support transformation initiatives that cut risk and deliver measurable value. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to ensure regulatory compliance and design-driven improvements using data and automation. This role offers the chance to shape core banking processes in a forward-thinking financial organization.

Verantwoordelijkheden

Analyze and document existing banking processes across Retail, Corporate, and Digital Banking (as-is)
Design and improve lean, compliant to-be processes
Lead process design initiatives including data models, dashboards, and system enhancements
Ensure process designs meet internal controls and regulatory requirements (KYC, AML, GDPR)
Collaborate with Product Owners, IT, and Engineering to implement changes
Apply data and automation technologies (RPA, OCR, workflow tools) to drive efficiency
Monitor process performance and take corrective actions
Introduce innovation and best practices and communicate changes across the organization

Belangrijkste vereisten

Strong understanding of banking products and operations (current accounts, credit cards, lending, payments, treasury, trade finance)
Experience in process reengineering within regulated financial institutions
Knowledge of Basel III, KYC/AML, FATCA, PSD2, and local banking regulations
Familiarity with Temenos, SWIFT, Bloomberg and integrations with CRM, ECM, and digital channels
Experience with process modeling tools (Visio, ARIS, Signavio) and methodologies (Lean Six Sigma, BPMN)
Exposure to digital transformation, RPA, and AI/ML is a plus
Data-driven approach and strong problem-solving skills
Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant fields
