Experteer Overview

In this role you will serve as the primary client contact and lead the planning and execution of audits of financial statements within PwC’s international practice. You’ll also audit internal controls and supervise diverse teams, coaching junior staff as needed. Collaboration with specialists from IT, actuarial, and valuation disciplines is key to delivering high‑quality reports. The position blends hands‑on audit work with ongoing professional development, including master’s/post-master’s studies, in a flexible hybrid setup.

Verantwoordelijkheden

  • Serve as the audit lead and client point of contact, overseeing planning and completion stages of the financial statement audit
  • Conduct assessments of client internal controls through audit procedures
  • Supervise audit teams and ensure deliverables are completed to standard
  • Coach less experienced colleagues and assess performance
  • Collaborate with PwC professionals from other disciplines (IT, actuarial, valuation)
  • Balance audit work with ongoing Master’s/post-Master’s studies on Fridays
  • Work with varying team sizes (2–10 people) across different client engagements
  • Contribute to finalization of the annual report

Belangrijkste vereisten

  • Degree from university or university of applied sciences
  • At least two years’ experience in audit practice (preferably financial sector)
  • Currently enrolled in the Registered Accountant study programme
  • Proficient in Dutch and English (written and spoken)
  • Good project management (planning and control) skills
  • Effective communicator with strong social skills and team orientation
