Facility Manager

Role

• Manage and oversee all facility operations across Europe.
• Develop and execute facility strategies that align with the company's international growth objectives.
• Analyze current locations and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and operational effectiveness.
• Coordinate expansion projects, including the setup and opening of new sites.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as finance, local management, and external partners.
• Supervise and prioritize facility-related tasks across more than 35 sites.
• Manage the company vehicle fleet and maintain strong supplier and contract relationships.
• Monitor and control budgets, costs, and financial performance within facility operations.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality regulations.
• Travel internationally, with a primary focus on Belgium and Germany in the early stages.

Candidate

• Bachelor's working and thinking level, preferably in Facility Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in (international) facility management or operations.
• Demonstrated success in managing multiple sites and projects simultaneously.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide multicultural teams.
• Financially literate with experience in budgeting, cost management, and supplier negotiations.
• Hands-on, structured, and able to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in Dutch and/or German is a strong plus.
• Willingness to travel across Europe on a regular basis.
