Company
Our client is a large international organization with a strong focus on innovation, digital transformation, and operational excellence. From its headquarters in the Eindhoven-Den Bosch region, the company supports multiple business entities across Europe and is investing heavily in information security and compliance to strengthen its digital resilience.
Role
Develop and safeguard the company-wide Cyber Security Strategy.
Provide functional leadership to the information security organization across all business entities.
Implement global security policies, standards, and governance frameworks.
Bring clarity and cohesion to security initiatives across a complex, multi-entity structure.
Lead enterprise-wide security programs, audits, and awareness initiatives.
Advise executive leadership, regulators, and governing bodies on risk acceptance and compliance.
Represent the organization in international governance structures and public-private partnerships.
You will report to the CIO as well as the Security Board, lead a team of Information Security Managers, and collaborate closely with an international network of security professionals.
Candidate
- Academic working and thinking level (IT, Information Security, or related field).
At least 7 years of experience in cybersecurity, including several years in a CISO or senior ISO role.
Relevant certifications such as CISM and/or CISSP are an advantage.
Strong understanding of governance and compliance frameworks (ISO/IEC 27001, NIS2, PG05).
Experience working in complex, decentralized organizations.
Proven leadership and change management experience.
Familiarity with application development; experience with (i)OT is a plus.
Excellent command of English and Dutch (German is a plus).

A senior leadership position where you directly shape cybersecurity strategy and execution.
A competitive gross monthly salary between €9,000 and €11,000, depending on experience.
