Experteer Overview
In this role you drive the industrialization of aerospace manufacturing, from machining to final assembly, ensuring efficient production of landing gear components. You will work within the Industrialization team on layout design, lean implementation, and manufacturing system changes. You’ll lead internal and vendor resources on industrialization projects with a strong emphasis on safety and quality. This position offers the chance to impact complex projects for critical flight-safe systems in a global aerospace setting.

Verantwoordelijkheden
- Implement industrial layout solutions from concept to production
- Apply lean methods in line with GKN standards
- Own quotes and change proposals for new products and manufacturing systems
- Lead industrialization projects with internal and external resources
- Ensure safety and regulatory compliance (HSE policies)
- Develop technical solutions to complex manufacturing problems
- Provide process development and integration support for production
- Utilize root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions to reduce non-conformances
- Pursue continuous improvement of production processes through Lean initiatives
- Maintain positive relationships with customers and suppliers
Belangrijkste vereisten
- Experience in managing (new) Product/Process introduction (industrialization) and production process improvements
- 10+ years in Manufacturing Engineering, preferably aerospace
- Knowledge of quality systems and standards (APQP, control plans)
- LEAN processes and practices experience
- Ability to influence and build trust in a global organization
- Working knowledge of ISO9000, AS9100, or D1-9000
- Quality-driven with strong documentation/reporting skills
- Experience with machining processes (milling, mill-turn, boring, honing) and surface treatments (heat treatment, plating, shot-peen, NDI) would be an advantage
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
