Experteer Overview
In this role you will plan, execute, and document First Article Inspections to verify components meet design specs and quality standards. You’ll operate within the Assembly team in Papendrecht, aligning with AS9102 and customer requirements. You’ll validate processes, manage FAIR plans, and collaborate with ME, OPS, QC, and Programme to keep production on track. You will help shape compliant, high-precision manufacturing for leading landing gear programs in a global, innovative environment.

Verantwoordelijkheden
- Develop and maintain the FAI process per AS9102
- Prepare FAIR plans including requirements, FAIR type, control plan, and part selection
- Create Form 1, 2, and 3 completions
- Validate test reports, certifications, and process documents
- Coordinate FAIR planning with MEs, OPS, QC and Programme
- Obtain FAIR plan approval from programs or customers and report status
- Communicate data collection points per Quality Control Plan
- Manage portfolio of new and backlog FAI parts
- Provide process support and metrics reporting
Belangrijkste vereisten
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field
- 5+ years’ experience in a regulated manufacturing industry
- Familiarity with high-precision metal manufacturing processes
- Hands-on metrology experience (calipers, micrometers, height gauges)
- Experience with CMMs and Zeiss Calypso
- Knowledge of quality standards and statistical tools (Pareto, histograms)
- AS9100, AS9102 and AS9145 training
- Working knowledge of FAI software NETInspect and DISCUS
- GD&T knowledge (ISO1101/ASME Y14.5M)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Organizational skills to manage multiple FAIRs
- Ability to work under pressure and perform root cause analysis
