In this dual-role, you manage outsourced manufacturing and prepare clear production documentation for in-house processes. You will balance external supplier coordination with internal work preparation to maintain reliable, efficient production flow. You’ll optimise manufacturability, quality and cost while supporting lean initiatives. This role offers visibility across production and supply chain, with room to grow in a continuous improvement environment.

Verantwoordelijkheden
- Coordinate outsourced sheet metal, machining and surface treatments; prepare outsourcing packages with drawings, BOMs, and technical requirements
- Review supplier quotations and advise on manufacturability and pricing; monitor quality, cost, and delivery performance
- Support audits and improvements of external supply base
- Translate engineering drawings into production documentation; prepare routings, operation sheets and material lists
- Suggest manufacturability and efficiency improvements; define needed tools, fixtures, and fabrication steps
- Collaborate with Engineering, Production and Quality; support kitting, standardization and 5S+1 initiatives
Belangrijkste vereisten
- 3–7 years experience in sheet-metal fabrication and/or CNC machining
- Technical vocational degree in mechanical engineering, metal fabrication or manufacturing technology
- Knowledge of after-treatments (powder coating, wet painting, glass bead blasting)
- Strong ability to read drawings, tolerances and materials
- Experience with ERP systems (JDE is a plus)
- Good communication skills and collaborative mindset
- Fluent in English; other languages are a bonus
