Experteer Overview

As Product Assurance Engineer at GKN Fokker Aerospace, you ensure and improve product and process quality across production, design and manufacturing. You act as a bridge between site production, programs, and customers, driving compliant, robust quality controls and audits. You will lead containment, RCA, and corrective actions while promoting a culture of continuous improvement. This role offers exposure to complex landing gear programs and cross-functional teams in a global aerospace context.

Verantwoordelijkheden

Assure and verify quality planning, realization and delivery in line with requirements
Serve as first-line POC for Customer and Governmental Quality Representatives, coordinating audits and issue resolution
Promote a Safety/Quality-first mindset and ensure adherence to policies and standards
Support development of the site Quality Culture and provide training on Product Safety and Quality awareness
Ensure requirements are identified, documented and implemented (QAPs, Product Quality Plans)
Collaborate with Engineering to align design specs and process capabilities and define robust process controls
Identify and plan projects to reduce Cost of Poor Quality at site level
Support risk management and improvement initiatives; drive containment, root cause analysis, corrective action and verification of effectiveness

Belangrijkste vereisten

Technical expertise in Manufacturing/Quality Engineering with a university degree in engineering, related science or quality management
Strong ability to foster Quality culture and communicate effectively
Experience in cross-functional teams and stakeholder management
Experience in Product Quality Assurance and Improvement during NPI/industrialisation and production realization
Knowledge of APQP, Zero Defects, LEAN, 6σ, SPC and ability to coach RCCA activities
Proven leadership in risk-based assurance and risk management
Knowledge of ISO 9001, AS/EN/JISQ9100, aviation regulatory requirements (EASA/FAA) and application to QMS/BMS
Fluent English (verbal and written)
Residence in the Netherlands and local regulatory compliance
