As Programme Manager, you will drive a strategic UAV development and manufacturing programme for Defence, based at Hoogeveen (Netherlands) and reporting to senior Defence leaders. You’ll lead an Integrated Programme Team across the full lifecycle, ensuring milestones, budget, risks, and governance are met. You’ll shape lifecycle processes, change management, and procurement alignment, enabling world-class UAV capability. This role offers high-impact work in a global, collaborative environment with cross-site travel.

Verantwoordelijkheden

Provide strategic programme insights on ways of working, lifecycle management, product strategy and industrialisation.
Lead and coordinate programme workstreams and change management to meet business-case requirements.
Oversee the IPT across the full lifecycle: milestones, KPIs, budgeting, change control and lifecycle reviews.
Lead risk, issue and opportunity management and drive mitigation actions.
Contribute to make/move/buy decisions and strategic procurement.
Support senior leadership in defining vision, strategy and budget; assist with cost and pricing proposals.
Adhere to programme management standards and contribute to process improvements.
Occasional travel between GKN facilities in the Netherlands, UK and Sweden.

Belangrijkste vereisten

Recognised degree in engineering, manufacturing or aerospace disciplines.
Programme Management Certification (e.g., IPMA) or in progress.
Demonstrated project leadership in engineering/manufacturing environments.
Desirable understanding of aerospace regulations and standards.
Strong knowledge of programme management and finance fundamentals.
Proficiency in Microsoft Project and Office applications.
Ability to lead, coach and mentor direct reports; excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Dutch and English (spoken and written).
