Experteer Overview
As an Associate in Nuveen’s Dutch Real Estate team, you support the country head in Benelux across investment and asset management activities. You help shape asset performance, capex programs, and lease strategies for a portfolio including office, retail, and logistics assets. You’ll coordinate with external advisors, prepare investor reporting, and assist on underwriting and due diligence for new opportunities. Your work enables value creation, data-driven decision making, and alignment with Nuveen’s ESG-focused real estate approach.
Verantwoordelijkheden
- Assist asset performance monitoring and operating management
- Prepare annual business plans and asset management initiatives
- Implement asset management initiatives, capex, renewal/lease targets
- Negotiate and execute lease transactions
- Support in building value-add business cases
- Coordinate external professional teams and research across real estate
- Prepare periodic investor reporting and explain variances
- Assist in quarterly/annual property valuation data collection and review
- Assist local portfolio manager in underwriting new opportunities and potential dispositions
- Support due diligence processes and provide quarterly investment reporting
- Present to Board and Investment committee
- Contribute to a pipeline of investment ideas
Belangrijkste vereisten
- Bachelor or Master’s degree
- High proficiency in English and Dutch
- Financial, analytical, and modelling skills (Excel)
- 3-5 years’ experience in real estate asset management
- Experience in retail and office sector preferred
- Knowledge of PE/value add environment preferred
- Knowledge of local real estate law
- Understanding of tenant mix, performance, and operations
- Interest in ESG investing in Real Estate
- Experience with Argus AE software desirable
