As Senior Financial Account Manager, you will oversee a diverse client portfolio within Corporate Expansion Services, acting as the primary contact for clients and advisers. You drive timely financial reporting, SPV administration, and compliance across Dutch GAAP and IFRS, while mentoring junior colleagues. You collaborate with cross-border teams to add value and support office growth. This role offers hands-on leadership, high interaction with clients, and key involvement in board meetings and audits.

Verantwoordelijkheden

Manage a client portfolio and serve as the first contact for clients, accountants, and advisers on financial and tax matters
Foster client relationships and support preparation of client meetings with operational staff
Administer SPVs, including monthly/quarterly reports, variance analysis, cash flows and working capital
Close accounts by reviewing SPV-level work prepared by property managers
Prepare VAT and CIT filings with external advisers
Prepare and review statutory annual financial statements (Dutch GAAP/IFRS)
Oversee local audits and resolve audit queries to ensure timely completion within budget
Manage bank accounts and client payments
Mentor and motivate junior/medior financial account managers
Participate in board meetings with presentation and clarification of annual accounts
Share financial knowledge across international offices
Perform miscellaneous finance/administrative tasks as required
Maintain organized work planning for timely filings

Belangrijkste vereisten

Bachelor or master’s degree in business administration, accounting, or equivalent
Minimum of five years of relevant work experience
Knowledge of Dutch GAAP/IFRS
Fluent in English (spoken and written)
Strong organizational, analytical, and leadership skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Self-motivated with sound decision-making and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently and in a team
Experience with accounting software
Hands-on, proactive leadership and client-management capabilities
