In this role you will manage a diverse client portfolio within the Corporate Expansion Services team, acting as the main contact for clients, their accountants, and advisers. You will oversee financial reporting, VAT/CIT filings, and SPV administration while guiding junior staff and supporting board discussions. Your work will contribute to client relationships, timely statutory reporting, and the growth of the Amsterdam office. This position combines hands-on accounting with leadership across cross-border activities.

Verantwoordelijkheden

Manage a client portfolio and serve as first point of contact for clients and advisers
Maintain client relationships and support client meetings with operational staff
Administer SPVs including monthly/quarterly reports and variance analysis
Close accounts and review SPV-level closures with property managers
Prepare VAT and CIT filings with external advisers
Prepare and review statutory annual financial statements (Dutch GAAP/IFRS)
Manage local audits and resolve audit queries to meet timelines and budget
Oversee bank accounts and client payments
Plan work to ensure timely, accurate administrative records
Mentor and motivate junior/medior financial account managers
Participate in board meetings with annual accounts presentation/clarification
Conduct other finance/administrative tasks as needed
Share financial and accounting knowledge across international offices

Independent work mentality and ability to handle stress
Strong communication and questioning when needed
Bachelor or Master’s degree in business administration or accounting (or equivalent)
Minimum five years of relevant experience
Knowledge of Dutch GAAP/IFRS
Fluent in English (spoken and written)
Excellent organizational, analytical, and leadership skills
Interpersonal and communication excellence
Self-motivated with decision-making and problem-solving aptitudes
Ability to work both independently and in a team
Experience with accounting software
