In this role you assess signing documents and manage legal and tax aspects of transactions for clients. You work with specialists to ensure Dutch corporate law compliance and build trusted relationships with advisers and clients. You guide client entities, coordinate with notaries and banks, and maintain high standards of internal procedures. You will help establish client companies and oversee board/ shareholder meetings, contributing to the firm’s global, integrity-driven service ethos.

Assess document signing with regard to company and client interests
Detect tax and legal issues in proposals and involve specialists
Guide clients on Dutch company law
Identify and resolve legal, fiscal, and administrative issues with cross-disciplinary input
Maintain and expand adviser and client relationships
Represent the company with external relations
Communicate with authorities and ensure regulatory compliance
Ensure client acceptance and periodic reviews considering risk
Establish client companies in collaboration with notaries and banks
Accept directorship roles for client companies with approval
Prepare and assess documents (powers of attorney, shareholder and board resolutions, agreements)
Organize and minutes meetings of boards and shareholders
Contribute to and monitor high-quality standards
Ensure compliance with internal procedures
Supervise Corporate and Support Officers

Belangrijkste vereisten

Completed study of Dutch, notarial, and/or tax law
Approximately 3–5 years+ experience at a trust office, law firm, tax advisory or notary office, or as a corporate lawyer in corporate and business law
Willingness to increase legal and tax knowledge
Numerical and analytical skills
Ability to view client company issues with a holistic perspective and connect with other disciplines
Strong external and internal communication skills
Proficiency in Dutch and English for document preparation and client communication; additional language is an advantage
Strong customer focus and ability to build long-term client relationships
Reliable, proactive, decisive; flexible with deadlines
Team player with sense of responsibility and commitment
Interest in challenge/development in business development and (account) management using legal/tax knowledge
