Experteer Overview

As a Senior Engineer in EWIS, you will drive the functional design of electrical wiring interconnections, overseeing design decisions, trade-offs, and integration across multi-disciplinary programs. You will work within the EWIS Functional Design team to shape wire harness constructions, manage data packages, and contribute to tooling improvements through concurrent engineering with international partners. This role centers on delivering reliable EWIS solutions while aligning with project scope, cost, and schedule. You will partner with suppliers and customers to push engineering excellence and sustainability in aerospace.

Verantwoordelijkheden

Understand design processes, standards, and requirements validation
Develop system design including components, schematics, and wiring diagrams
Design wiring harness functional aspects and integration considerations
Analyze design, perform trade-off studies, and make design decisions
Process aircraft systems data packages and write technical reports
Support continuous functional improvements of engineering tooling via concurrent engineering
Monitor progress, scope, cost, and configuration in projects
Apply configuration management principles and report deviations
Collaborate with international teams, system suppliers, and customers
Basics of electronics and mechanics; knowledge of environmental conditions in aircraft

Belangrijkste vereisten

Minimum 5 years in the Aerospace industry
Experience in a multi-disciplinary international engineering environment
Proficiency with Electrical design software (Aerospace applications)
Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
