As Senior Food Contact Material Compliance Specialist, you ensure packaging materials meet applicable food contact regulations across a global portfolio. You collaborate with two team members and align with the Senior Expert on evolving laws. You monitor regulatory developments and guide internal and external stakeholders to maintain safety and compliance. This role combines regulatory expertise with data-driven processes to enable compliant, safe packaging at scale.

Verantwoordelijkheden
- Ensure global packaging materials comply with applicable food contact regulations
- Collaborate with two compliance experts to review and advise on packaging compliance documentation
- Align with the Senior Expert on FCM compliance regarding new legal developments
- Monitor implementation progress of new and evolving regulations and ensure timely execution
- Provide expert advice and support to internal stakeholders and external customers on packaging safety and regulatory standards
- Serve as a key contact for internal stakeholders and customers on food contact compliance questions
Belangrijkste vereisten
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Material Science, Chemistry, Packaging, Food Science/Technology or related field
- 7+ years of experience in food contact material regulation (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of European harmonized and national regulations; familiarity with FDA, China GB and other international regulations is a plus
- Affinity with data management systems and experience with SAP-PLM, PowerBI, and Excel
- Proactive, analytical mindset with excellent communication and presentation skills (English)
