Experteer Overview
As a Senior Geotechnical Earthquake Consultant, you will join a multi‑disciplinary team delivering seismic input for maritime structures, hydraulic engineering, and infrastructure worldwide. You will contribute as consultant, design leader, or reviewer, guiding junior colleagues and ensuring practical, high‑quality geotechnical solutions. You’ll work on challenging projects with international teams, shaping seismic risk management and innovative approaches. This role combines technical excellence with a collaborative culture that supports sustainable, society‑oriented engineering.

Verantwoordelijkheden
- Provide geotechnical seismic advice across projects (maritime, infrastructure, airports, tunnels, dikes, land reclamations, buildings)
- Act as consultant, design leader, or reviewer and supervise/junior team members
- Deliver smart, practical seismic solutions aligned with latest practices
- Collaborate with cross‑office teams worldwide to support project delivery
- identify and implement geotechnical risk management strategies
- contribute with innovative, sustainable approaches to client challenges
- support business development and technical mentoring within the team
Belangrijkste vereisten
- MSc or PhD in Geo‑Engineering (Geological or Geotechnical Engineering/Engineering Seismology)
- 5–15 years of experience (mid or senior level)
- Strong numerical skills (Plaxis) and interest in scripting/automation/AI
- Excellent verbal and written English; Dutch desirable
- Flexible attitude and willingness to travel
- Currently based in the Netherlands or willing to relocate
