As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer on the Assembly team at Fokker Landing Gear, you drive efficient production of landing gear components on a multi-technology campus. You will support operational deliveries, manage non-conformities, and define temporary instructions, with a path toward NC approval. You apply safety-first thinking and Lean/quality methodologies to deliver measurable improvements, working with internal and external customers to enable on-time, compliant manufacturing.

Verantwoordelijkheden

Develop technical solutions for complex problems with a safety-first mindset and ensure HSE compliance
Provide technical support for manufacturing development and integration for production
Resolve vendor schedule and quality issues
Apply root cause analysis and corrective actions to reduce non-conformances
Implement tooling and production planning from concept to production using ZDM tooling
Oversee product development, first article development, configuration changes, and build process definition
Deliver metrics-driven results aligned with Operational & Program goals
Maintain positive relationships with customers and co-workers
Drive continuous improvement of production processes through Lean initiatives

Belangrijkste vereisten

10+ years in Manufacturing Engineering
Degree in a related engineering discipline (Aerospace, Mechanical, Automotive)
Ability to influence and build trust within a global organization
LEAN knowledge and practice
Familiarity with quality systems ISO9000, AS9100, or D1-9000
Strong documentation and reporting skills
Knowledge of machining (milling, mill-turn, boring, honing) and surface treatments (heat treatment, plating, shot-peen, NDI) an advantage
Fluent in English
