As Manufacturing Engineer Product & Planning at Fokker Landing Gear, you enable efficient production of landing gear components within a multi-technology campus. You’ll work in an Integrated Product Team to support operational deliveries, analyze production characteristics, and manage non-conformities to drive continuous improvement. You’ll advance towards NC approval, shaping manufacturing processes and tooling through a Zero Defect Manufacturing mindset. This global area combines safety focus with cross-functional collaboration to deliver critical flight-critical components.

Verantwoordelijkheden

Develop technical solutions for complex manufacturing challenges with a safety-first mindset
Provide technical support for manufacturing development and integration for production
Resolve vendor schedule/quality issues and implement root cause analyses
Manage tooling and production planning from concept to production; apply ZDM tooling
Oversee product development, first article, configuration changes, and build process definition
Deliver measurable results aligned with operational and program goals
Maintain strong relationships with internal/external customers and colleagues
Continuously improve production processes via Lean initiatives

Belangrijkste vereisten

10+ years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering
Degree in Engineering (Aerospace, Mechanical, Automotive)
Ability to influence and build trust in a global organization
Working knowledge of LEAN processes and practices
Experience with quality systems (ISO9000, AS9100, or D1-9000)
Strong documentation/reporting skills
Knowledge of machining (milling, mill-turn, boring, honing) and surface treatments (heat treatment, plating, shot-peen, NDI) is advantageous
Fluency in English (written and spoken)
