In this role you will lead regulatory certification for Motorola Solutions’ wired and wireless video products, ensuring safety, EMC, RF and cybersecurity compliance. You will collaborate with hardware, firmware and mechanical teams to embed standards in development and navigate labs and authorities. You will articulate complex requirements, produce conclusive test reports, and drive process improvements in regulatory compliance. This position offers the opportunity to shape product approvals at a global scale and strengthen the safety capabilities of our video solutions.

Verantwoordelijkheden

Lead safety, EMC, wireless and cybersecurity certification for video security products/cameras
Act as SME for interpreting standards and certification requirements
Collaborate with electrical, mechanical and firmware teams during development to ensure passable certifications
Ensure testing aligns with safety, EMC, RF and cybersecurity standards
Advocate with test labs, agencies and governing bodies on behalf of Motorola Solutions
Interface with suppliers and industry partners to ensure regulatory compliance
Create and maintain compliance certificates and test reports demonstrating conformance
Support process improvement activities for regulatory compliance

Belangrijkste vereisten

7+ years of relevant engineering experience in regulatory compliance for wireless video/multimedia equipment
Extensive experience with EMC, RF and safety certification
Experience working with certification bodies and test labs
Experience obtaining country type approvals including FCC, ICES, CE, RCM, Anatel
Strong knowledge of safety standards IEC 62368-1, IEC 62471
Familiarity with RF standards such as FCC Part 15, EN 300 328, EN 301
Experience with Bluetooth SIG certification
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to coordinate across time zones and fast-paced environments
