    Role

    • As part of the European Business Operation Organisation, he/she will contribute to the growth of his/her attributed product range.
    • Set the portfolio strategic plan and tactics and execute them to grow the share in the competitive environment.
    • Define the appropriate actions (e.g. commercial segment focus, communication plan, promotional activities for both direct sales force and distributors) and work cross-functionally for the successful execution of these actions.
    • Define pricing strategies for new and existing products.
    • For above tasks a significant amount of daily work will be administrative activities for supporting supply, demand forecasting, approval of special pricing requests and being part of the product complaint solution process.
    • Develop and maintain an active liaison in between the European Business Operation organisation and his/her counterpart in the teams.
    • Participate to trade shows and conferences in support to the sales team.
    • Look at co-marketing activities and new market opportunities within the industry

    Candidate

    Education & Experience

    • Benchtop Laboratory Equipment Business experience in the Life Sciences market (more than 3years)
    • Technical Equipment understanding - both instrument as well application (more than 2years)
    • Cross-selling experience of consumables and equipment
    • Customer-facing experience would be a plus
    • International working experience in a matrix organisation would be a plus
    • Ability to travel within the region 30% of time and work remotely
    • Familiarity with equipment and major software (Word, Excel, database software)
    • Think strategically
    • Analytic skills
    • Ability to work in a multi-cultural / multi-functional team environment
    • Strong presentation and communication skills
    • Process and problem solving oriented
    • Demonstrated ability to solve conflict
    • Fluent in English, additional European language preferred
