Category & Channel Manager Alpro

About the job

As our Category & Channel Manager, you understand what drives the Plant-based shoppers in the retail channel and how we can optimize their path to purchase. You connect the dots between different (data) resources and define the right actionable insights. You actively participate in internal customer-teams and cross-functional business teams by sharing trade marketing analyses and insights to bring Plant-based to the next level and make it become the new normal!

In close cooperation with the Sr Category Manager you create a long term strategy for category development including translation into an actionable channel- and customer approach and lead category management projects resulting in an optimization of retail P’s for the respective channel. You are also responsible for category and growth vision stories to create toolkits for market adaptation.

We are looking for an enthusiastic personality with an entrepreneurial mindset and with a Bachelor/Master degree (preferably in Business or Marketing) and at least 3-5 years of experience in FMCG market within retail. Experience with category management is a big plus.

You are a strong connector who is able to convince stakeholders in a dynamic environment. You enjoy working in a dynamic, fast changing, complex and high energy environment. You are also a strong networker and an excellent communicator in Dutch with well-developed English skills.
