    Role

    Provide legal advice on general business related matters to the Company's EMEA colleagues on a pan-European basis including, based on the individual's SME and allocation of responsibilities. Advice related to corporate law, commercial contracting, data privacy, distribution, parallel imports, competition law, pharmaceutical compliance, digitalization of services pricing & reimbusresent and drug safety / pharmacovigilancematters, among others, in order to ensure legal compliance of Company's EMEA business operations.
    Ensure the Company's EMEA entities meet corporate legal requirements, and in particular corporate governance and corporate secretarial requirements, including managing and drafting shareholder and boad meeting documentation, delegations of authority and other corporate legal documentation.
    Draft and/or review commercial agreements to further business operations growth while avoiding or minimising business risks with third parties.
    Provide legal support to number of countries in EMEA region to be assigned including support on commercial and pharmaceutical law matters.
    Provide assistance to central business functions and EMEA affiliated companies to establish a consistent business approach to operational issues facing Company's EMEA operations.
    Support geographical expansion activities, including contract administration after agreements have been implemented, to support revenue growth objectives and patient access to Company's products, and legal support for specific EMEA projects as agreed with Head of Legal Affairs, EMEA.
    Assist management of assigned external law firms.
    Participate in bi-monthly Legal department update meetings.
    Ensure that relevant documents are uploaded timely onto Legal department database.

    Candidate

    Law degree from recognised university in Europe. Qualification to practice law
    in an EU country.
    Approximately 3-7 years of law practice in a law firm and in-house in an
    internationally focused law firm / internationally focused company.
    Successfully and independently managing the legal aspects of complex
    international projects.
    Experience in life sciences (or other regulated industry).
    Strong business approach, pragmatic and solution-orientated.
    High degree of integrity.
    Self-starter and hands-on, with the ability to work independently, and excellent
    organisational skills.
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the capacity to flex
    communication style to the needs of stakeholders at different levels of
    management and the organisation.
    Strong work ethic, agile mindset to work in a fast-changing environment, and
    results-driven.
    Excellent command of the English language, including drafting skills.
    Fluency in Dutch and/or other European languages would be
    considered as plus.
    Able to travel on an EMEA basis to support business teams (approximately once
    per calendar quarter and as needed).
