    Our client is an international Retail organization going through a large IT transformation and has an important focus on growth.

    To facilitate the growth and improving the IT organization, our client is looking for a Senior Manager PMO to be in the lead, oversee and ensure successful delivery the portfolio of projects and programs.


    As a Senior Manager PMO, you will be responsible for overseeing multiple projects within the organisation, aligning project goals with business objectives, and ensuring successful delivery of the portfolio.

    • Work with the senior management team to develop and implement a product/platforms approach and SAFE agile practices across the organisation.
    • Develop and maintain an overall portfolio management framework, including project prioritization, resource allocation, and governance.
    • Lead and facilitate portfolio planning and review sessions, including gathering and analysing portfolio data to provide insight and recommendations to senior management.
    • Collaborate with product owners, project managers, and other stakeholders to align portfolio objectives with business goals and priorities.
    • Develop and maintain portfolio metrics and KPIs to track portfolio performance and communicate progress to stakeholders.
    • Identify and manage portfolio risks and issues and develop mitigation strategies.
    • Coach and mentor project managers and other team members in agile practices and portfolio management principles.
    • Continuously assess and improve the portfolio management framework and processes and recommend changes to senior management as needed.


    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in portfolio management, preferably in an agile environment
    • Proven experience in IT and Business related projects and programs
    • Experience within Retail or FMCG organizations is considered a plus
    • Experience within global organizations is a must
    • Strong understanding of portfolio management principles and practices, and familiarity with agile methodologies, particularly SAFE
    • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and identify and mitigate risks.
    • Experience working in a complex and fast-paced environment, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
    • Fluent in English
