We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused professional to join our team as a Customer Experience Consultant for our direct transport department in Rotterdam. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and support throughout their transportation journey. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a positive customer experience for all customers and ensures a smooth execution of the end to end shipment lifecycle by working closely with the customer and internal teams.
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Provide solutions for customer issues and act as voice of customer.
  • Act and communicate proactively whilst keeping customers informed of relevant topics.
  • Analyze how to improve the service provided to customers
  • Take an active role in internal as well as external customer meetings together with Sales Specialists/Operations etc.
  • Find optimal transport solutions to ensure prompt and safe delivery of cargo to destination.
  • Coordinate closely with other teams to ensure that agreed turn times are achieved for customer requests.
  • Address root causes and seek improvement opportunities on daily tasks/responsibilities.

Who we are looking for:

  • Proven experience in a customer facing role in the logistics or transportation industry (5+ years)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think strategically and outside the box
  • Fluency in Dutch and English
