To support this they are accelerating its digital ambitions and a robust, scalable, and effectively IT / Digital setup is both the backbone and key enabler to the strategy. They're committed to leveraging cutting-edge digital technologies to drive innovation and enhance their business operations.

    Global Digital Solution Architect is a key, visible role within Digital & Business Foundation team and the wider Digital & Transformation team. Working with the Business Units (BUs) as well as with the Global IT organisation, acting as a subject matter expert and architect for both traditional and digital based solutions.

    The challenge is particularly attractive because we are supporting the transformation of a largely decentralised organisation. Global Digital solutions that are being developed and implemented must fit into a local ecosystem in a hybrid architecture (local systems and global systems working in harmony) which is an interesting challenge to navigate and additionally a key part of the role is to ensure that the solutions delivered, meet the business needs, and are in line with the defined architecture, security principles, while in line with industry best practices.Key Responsibilities 1. Collaborate with business stakeholders from the BUs to understand their requirements and challenges and translate them into comprehensive digital solutions.

    2. Evaluate existing systems (SAP, D365, Salesforce, Workday etc.), technologies, and architectures to identify opportunities for improvement, value-addition and innovation.

    3. Design end-to-end digital solutions that leverage digital applications, cloud computing, data analytics, artificial intelligence, integration, and automation to meet business objectives.

    4. In close collaboration & alignment with EA, develop architecture blueprints, diagrams, and documentation to communicate solution designs to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

    5. Work closely with development teams to ensure that solutions are implemented according to architectural standards and best practices.

    6. Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout the entire project lifecycle, from planning and design to implementation and support.

    7. Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and industry trends, and assess their potential impact on future digital solutions.

    8. Drive continuous improvement and optimization of digital solutions to ensure scalability, availability, maintainability, reliability, and performance.

    9. Actively work with business and other Global IT project teams, e.g. Global Website, Customer Analytics, Customer Portals, ERP, CRM & Enabling applications to support the delivery of digital & IT services required for these projects

    10. Work with EA to establish a community of peers, across organisation and the wider group of companies to share ideas, opportunities and learnings.

    11. Responsible for the digital architecture & governance of global solutions

    12. Documenting the existing digital IT landscape (business functions, applications, interfaces and technical components) & continue to maintain it in close collaboration with EA & domain architects

    13. Drive the exchange of knowledge & ideas among colleagues within the head office and between business units

    Candidate

    Key Skills & Requirements

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 10+ years working experience and at least 3+ years as a digital architect
    • Proven experience as a Digital Solution Architect or similar role, with a track record of designing and implementing successful end to end digital solutions.
    • Experience with enterprise wide business processes & related digital applications in ERP, CRM, Supply Chain etc. domains.
    • Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, architecture patterns, and design principles.
    • Good understanding of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their services.
    • Experience with data analytics, machine learning, integrations/APIs and other advanced technologies.
    • Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, TOGAF) are a plus.
    • Self-motivated, highly flexible and can work effectively in ambiguous environments
    • Willing to travel internationally approximately 10-20%
    • Speaks and writes fluently in English
    • Consulting experience desirable
