Role



  • Lead IT Audits: Define audit scope, test controls, document findings, and conduct follow-up reviews to ensure risks are effectively managed and the organization complies with relevant regulatory, organizational standards, and best practices (e.g., CIS, COBIT, NIST).


  • Conduct Technical Audits: Perform in-depth technical audits across various IT domains, including cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, database management, application security, and network architecture. Ensure thorough risk assessments and evaluate the effectiveness of controls.


  • Leverage Data Analytics: Integrate data analytics into the audit process to drive actionable insights and improve decision-making.


  • Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with IT and business teams to communicate audit findings and provide practical recommendations that strengthen IT governance, risk management, and control frameworks.


  • Stay Current: Monitor emerging IT risks, technological advancements, and regulatory changes that could impact the business or audit processes.


  • Occasional International Travel: Support audit activities with potential pre-planned international travel as needed.



Candidate



  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.


  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CISM, or CRISC are highly preferred.


  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in IT auditing, cybersecurity, or related IT roles.


  • Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, application development, cloud environments, and information security. Familiarity with industry frameworks (e.g., MITRE, CIS) and regulatory standards is essential.


  • Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple audit projects simultaneously with a keen eye for detail.


  • Analytical & Communication Skills: Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities, with the ability to communicate complex technical issues clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.


  • Tools & Automation: Proficiency with data analytics and audit tools, with experience in automated auditing techniques preferred.


  • Personality: A good sense of humor and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
