Role

  • Client Portfolio Management:Responsible for administration and controlling of a portfolio of more complex clients and ensure the accuracy and good standing of client files.
  • Team Leadership:Provide guidance to Financial Controllers and Administrators in their daily work.
  • Process and Efficiency Improvements:Actively review time sheets to address inefficiencies and identify and address organisational or process improvements.
  • Financial Operations:
  • Prepare financial reporting and closing processes.
  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and cash flow statements.
  • Prepare annual accounts and VAT returns.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Manage compliance tasks, including transaction monitoring and collaborate closely with the Legal team on regulatory matters.
  • Banking and Payments: Manage payments and banking processes in cooperation with the payments administrator.
  • Ad Hoc Support: Handle internal and client requests related to client portfolios.

Candidate

  • Relevant work experience in client-facing positions.
  • Deep knowledge of Dutch GAAP and IFRS.
  • Advanced education in Accountancy or Business Administration.
  • Solid experience in guiding and managing more junior staff.
  • Knowledge of international taxation, including withholding taxes.
  • Excellent communication and social skills (fluent in English, a high level of Dutch preferred)
  • Proficiency with MS Office, Windows, and accounting software, preferably AFAS.
  • A proactive approach, strong sense of ownership, and a natural drive for results and meeting deadlines.
